10.3.10 Broadway & Wilson at Brunchlox w/Uriah West and Karl Almaria!

I’m still riding the high from last weekends campout so I’m going to parlay that right into Sunday as Andrew Emil and I throw down along with Karl Almaria and Uriah West on Karl’s monthly Brunchlox radio show.  Karl is so gracious to host the best monthly BBQ in the city hands down.  Not only does he have some of the best and most delicious food around, but some of the most outstanding local and international talent in the business in house and throwing down to enrich all of our auditory sensibilities.  I’m excited to play with Uriah, which I haven’t done since about six months ago when I got to play out in Denver at his Two AM after hours spot.  Uriah runs the labels Bump Shop and 5280, aptly named for the mile high city in which he resides.  Fun times guaranteed, rain, or shine, heat or freeze.  If you haven’t been personally invited to the BBQ, you can still enjoy the live video and music webcast from 12-4, and possibly later!

When: October 3rd, 12-4pm

Where: Brunchlox

Hawt Podcast and “Good Old Daze LP” Album Reviews!

bw-topps-hawt.jpg It has been a good week for Broadway & Wilson! We are being featured on this week’s Hawtcast podcast out of LA. It is an honor to have our own baseball card and sit along side so many great names in music, past podcasts include Derrick Carter, Inland Knights, Peter Christiansen (LCG), DJ Sneak and many more. The B&W chunk of the podcast is our WMC 2010 promo production mega-mix with all sorts of goodies from the B&W catalogue.

The “Good Old Daze LP” available on iTunes, Stompy, and other digital retailers on Farris Wheel Recordings, and it has been getting some really amazing reviews, not to mention 4 of 6 tracks made Stompy Top 100! Here are a couple of reviews worth mentioning, thank you so much to 5 Magazine, Frankie J and Lee Jarvis for such wonderful words.
