The Chicago underground music scene has definitely been dealt a serious blow with the closing of clubs such as Sonotheque and Lava Lounge. There are only so many venues that are showcasing good underground talent, let alone any of the up-and-comers. With that said, I feel extremely thankful that I am still in a position to have a place for so many talented people to play. Many people complain about the scene dying, but if those who are complaining aren’t going out and supporting the underground, then they are part of the problem. Come be part of the solution!
